What's your Mid-year Resolution?

Everyone knows about new year's resolutions. But wait.... what about your Mid-year's Resolution? Counting forward, June, which is the mid-year point represents half of your past new year's resolution. Because new year's resolutions typically only last for a few months, it's pertinent that you take your life in for a "Life Check-up" around June. What have you actually accomplished? What items are still unaddressed? And furthermore, if you haven't completed any of your resolutions, it's still time to do so. The reasons new year's resolutions rarely work is because there is no long-term plan for success. After the exhausting holidays, and the get back to work mode for January, your goals simply fizzles after "let's just say" March, and your resolutions, become unaddressed, unresolved, and your life goals remain in an indeterminate state.  But that's okay, you still have time to revisit your life goals for 2018, and reassign them to a time-frame, while refreshing your ambition for 2018.
Life does really move quickly, and if you are stagnant, your aspirations, dreams, ambitions, and purpose are all passing you by as well; uncontested. It's not too late, however, so grab yourself a pen and paper, and reestablish your goals for 2018, and get to work on them. Remember to hand write your goals first since writing strengthens the learning process and memory. Writing also "leaves a memory in the sensorimotor part of the brain which assists with a person remembering and recognizing what they write. It's perfectly okay to transfer that information onto your cellular device, tablet, or computer under your calendar later as a point of reference. Keep in mind that one of the most important qualities of life is consistency and tenacity. Your dream and goals will always fall short if you give up, so get back to your goals for this year, and make sure you don't over-plan.  Otherwise, it's like your life is counting backward and you don't want that. Be realistic about your goals, but remember to write them down, paste them somewhere visible, and look at them every day until they are fully digested. Happy Mid Year 2018.
